Refund & Rescheduling Policy

This policy outlines the terms for refunds and rescheduling regarding Peripheral Goods and Service Bookings (Local Guide & Activities) made in our store. Please read carefully before purchasing. 1. Scope of Application
  • Peripheral Goods(Accessories): Refer to physical cultural and tourism products that can be shipped.
  • Service Bookings: Refer to local guide services and featured activities booked through this website.
2. Refund Policy for Peripheral Goods
  • Eligibility for Refund:
    • Items must be unused, in their original condition, with original packaging and tags attached
    • You need to contact us to request a return and refund within 7 days of receiving the item.
  • Non-refundable Items:
    • Opened personalized/customized goods
    • Any digital products (e-books, guides, etc.) without quality issues.
    • Items damaged by the customer or with missing parts.
  • Refund Process:
    • Please contact our customer service at customerservice@bjyouban.com to initiate a request.
    • We will process the refund within 5 business days after receiving the returned item and verifying its condition.
    • Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
  • Shipping Costs:
    • If the return is due to customer preference (e.g., don't like it, wrong order), return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
    • If the return is due to a defective product or our error, shipping costs will be borne by us.
3. Refund Policy for Service Bookings (Local Guide/Activities/Events)
  • Eligibility for Refund:
    • Cancellations made more than 6 hours before the scheduled start time will receive a full refund.
    • Cancellations made within 6 hours of the scheduled start time are non-refundable
    • If a service is cancelled by us or the service provider (e.g., guide illness, bad weather, insufficient participants), we will arrange rescheduling or a full refund.
  • Non-refundable Situations:
    • Customer no-show at the scheduled time.
    • Cancellation requests made within 6 hours of the start time.
  • Refund Process:
    • Request cancellation by emailing customerservice@bjyouban.com.
    • Eligible refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5 business days after approval.
4. Service Rescheduling Policy
  • If you need to reschedule your booking, you must contact our customer service more than 6 hours before the originally scheduled start time.
  • Rescheduling Process:
    1. Email customerservice@bjyouban.com with your order number and desired new time slot.
    2. Our customer service agent will immediately contact the service provider (guide/activity host) to coordinate a new time.
    3. Once availability is confirmed, the agent will rearrange the booking for you and send an updated confirmation email.
  • Important Notes:
    • Rescheduling incurs no service fee, but price differences for the new time slot may need to be paid or refunded.
    • Successful rescheduling is subject to the service provider's availability. We cannot guarantee all rescheduling requests can be fulfilled.
    • Each booking can be rescheduled a maximum of once within its validity period.
